Under the direction of the Comptroller, the Accounting Manager/Purchasing Agent supervises the day to day operations of
the Accounting Department. This includes the overseeing the processing of Payables to insure prompt, accurate, and compliant
record keeping. The Accounting Manager also:

Reviews, researches, and recommends contracts for services, office supplies, and office equipment
Assists all county departments in purchasing and accounting functions
Supports the Comptroller in daily budgetary functions
Reviews all departmental budget expenditures helping to manage funds throughout the year
Coordinates the Finance Committee monthly meetings
Reports to the Finance Committee on requested information |
The Comptroller is the chief financial officer for Benton County's financial operations and is responsible for developing the county budget.
The Comptroller also supervises the Human Resources Department and Accounting Department.
