1. Established and maintained a solid working relationship with area law enforcement agencies.
2. All notifications/requests for Coroner's office are now routed solely through Central Communications.
3. Worked with Central Communications to create new procedures which have been implemented for faster notification
of deaths from dispatch to the Coroner.
4. First Coroner's Office to partner with the Arkansas Crisis Center.
5. Implemented a new software system that tracks all of the County Coroner's information and statistics.
6. Enhanced website features to provide expanded information more readily to the public.
7. The Benton County Coroners Office was the first Coroner's office in Arkansas to have a written policy regarding indigent deaths.
8. Currently developing a Mass Fatality Response Plan with the Benton County Department of Emergency Management.
9. Achieved National Certified Death Scene Investigator status. The Benton County Coroner is now 1 of only 11 in Arkansas to be certified
by the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.
10. Worked with other County departments such as Fire Marshal, Central Communications & Emergency Management to develop Public Safety Alerts for the County website.
