The 9-1-1 Administrative Office is charged with the assignment of 9-1-1 addresses for new structures or mobile homes for rural Benton County and the following Cities:
Avoca, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, Decatur, Garfield, Gateway, Gentry, Gravette, Highfill,
Little Flock, Pea Ridge, Rogers and Sulphur Springs
The following Benton County Cities assign their own addresses:
Bentonville, Bethel Heights, Centerton, Elm Springs, Lowell, Siloam Springs and Springdale
For us to assign an accurate 9-1-1 address the property owner will need to provide specific property information, such as, subdivision,
lot and block or a tax parcel number along with the type of structure needing addressed.
We need to know the name of the street and the location of the driveway for that structure/mobile home, if there will be more than one
structure on that driveway and where the structures will be located.
Most structures assigned addresses are those with telephone service, water or other utilities.
Structures addressed may include:
Apartments, barns, commercial buildings, houses, mobile homes, pole sheds, poultry houses
and storage buildings.
Once a new 9-1-1 address has been assigned this office will send notification to the property owner, the post office and emergency
service providers of that new address.
Change of address notifications are sent to the assessor’s office, county clerk’s office, electric company, property owner, post office,
telephone company and emergency service providers.
If a change of address is located in Bella Vista notification will be sent to the Mayor’s office, Bella Vista ACC, Bella Vista POA, Bella Vista Post Office,
Bella Vista Water Department, electric company and emergency service providers.
