The 9-1-1 Administration Office, under the guidance of a five-member board, is responsible for the effective and efficient operation and administration of the countywide 9-1-1 Emergency Communications System (ECS) that will meet the emergency communication needs throughout County.


The 9-1-1 Administration Office works in conjunction with the Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and all emergency service providers, such as:

Fire departments
Emergency medical personnel
Law enforcement agencies

The 9-1-1 Administration Office insures a smooth operation of communications to avoid confusion during emergency situations.

The 9-1-1 Administration Office is responsible for compiling and maintaining:

Accurate up-to-date 9-1-1 Addressing
GIS Mapping

The 9-1-1 Administration Office is responsible for the majority of the County's 18 municipalities.
